E-mealz
Yesterday, I needed to go grocery shopping and was feeling uninspired. Same old same old stuff again. I had looked at e-mealz.com before and I thought it looked like a great idea. So, I decided to try it out. It is $15 every 3 months ($5 a month) and every week they give you 7 meals and a shopping list. You can choose a family plan, low fat plan, low carb plan, vegetarian plan, even a couple's plan if it's just you and your significant other. They also have all of these by store. I usually grocery shop at Wal-mart so I chose the Wal-Mart Family plan. So far it has been good. Last night we had loaded baked potatoes with garlic bread and salad. Tonight we had crock pot beef stew with corn bread. It was so easy to just print my list, check off what I already had in the pantry and go to the store. So far the recipes have been really simple. I'm hoping that by doing this we will save money on groceries and eat out less. I'll let you know what I think of it after the first week is through.

Happy Monday
Time for new things and new beginnings. I love the beginning of a new year. The hustle and bustle of the holidays in behind us and we can get back to life as we know it. There is a freshness in the air somehow, almost like a second chance. I start my diet back today. I weighed myself yesterday and I am up 7 pounds from the last time I weighed myself in November. I am so mad at myself but I just need to get that 7 pounds plus 10 (or 15) off this year. If I really try hard and put my mind to it I can have that 20 pounds off by Spring. I wish I could do Insanity again but my knees got so torn up last time that I can barely do anything physical without my knees (and sometimes my hip) hurting. So, yeah, I'm getting old. I'll be 33 in February.
I've got lots to do so going to eat my oatmeal and green tea (instead of coffee)

1-1-11 Let's blog!
Hey, I know that you are in shock that I am actually blogging. It has been a couple months, I know! I have a good reason though. God blessed me tremendously in November and December with lots of photo shoots and I was up to my ears in taking, editing and printing pictures not to mention taking care of a 4 and 2 year old, and 2 dogs. Matt worked full time throughout half of November and all of December as a temporary Manager. We are both hopeful that he will be able to get a promotion soon. January and February are known as the "slow" season in the photography world so I hope to get my house and life more organized during this time. Hoping to stay busy enough to pay the bills though!
Hopefully I will blog more soon! Happy New Year!!
Just realized I used the word "hope" alot in this entry! Sorry 'bout that!
