The Lord Works in Mysterious ways
I had a very surreal experience today. I'm not even sure when it's gonna hit me. I was laid off today by my employer of 6 years. It was very sad, but I'm not worried. I know that God will take care of us. He will get us through this. With the Holidays coming I'm hoping that Matt will be able to get more hours at the Gap and I'll of course get unemployment benefits. The positive side to this is I'll be able to spend some more time with the kids and Matt. I know that God has something in store for me. I am excited to see just what it is. I am thankful that God has kept my job safe for this long. People have been getting laid off for over a year at my company and I avoided the chopping block up til now. I am hoping that I may be able to do something with my photography to earn some extra money.

Oh Sarah, your post gave me goosebumps. You have such an awesome spirit. I will keep you in my prayers (did you see I'm starting a prayer journal?). I know that God has great plans for you. I hope they include photography because I think you are truly talented! God bless!

Yeah God took care of us when the rug was pulled out from under my husbands feet a while back. He kept us going and now things are better then ever! I'm sorry to hear about your job though, I'm sure it must be hard....
