My Heroes

This is Henry. My beautiful, smart, rambunctious 4 year old son.

I can't help but think that this could have been the last photo taken of my sweet boy. I am ever so grateful to these two:

Last night Henry, Zoe and Charlie were playing in the backyard at my parents' house and I was just inside the door. All of a sudden I hear Zoe screaming and crying. When I looked out the door she was standing at the door banging on the window. As I opened the door to see what was wrong with her she pointed to the pool where I see Charlie attempting to pull a crying, soaking wet Henry out of the pool. I jerked him up out of the pool and all was fine. I am beyond impressed with how Zoe (2) and Charlie (barely 3) thought fast to come to the rescue of their brother / Cousin / friend Henry. I always say that they look like they could be twins and wonder twins they were to Henry last night.

Oh, Sarah, you gave me goosebumps! Your poor Henry, but that is *awesome* about your sweet girl and her "wonder twin"! I always underestimate my kids (not out loud or to their faces or anything, but internally)...then they go and do things that AMAZE me, and I think "Shame on me!" for doing that. SO glad everything turned out okay!

How scary! I am so glad Henry is OK and that Zoe and Charlie were there to save him.

I was so proud of Charlie and Zoe for not hesitating to do the right things for Henry. I love them all. God is so good to our family.

So glad that Charlie knew what to do, when I ask him about it he says "I hold on to Henry's shirt then his mommy comes to get him, he was all wet."
and
Zoe did a great job being loud to get your attention, I heard her in the other room and she is usually so quiet.
